A NEW RESIDENT
INTEREST IN SPORT In a town possessing a large proportion of residents interested in outdoor sports, it will come as a pleasant surprise to learn tnat Mr A, i). L. Mae Lean, wlio Jias taken up residence here is a keen supporter of various games which in Upuuake provide the, public with entertainment throughout the year. Mr Mae Lean has been admitted into partnership in the firm of Mesrs Croker, McCormick, Edmonds and Mae Lean, Barristers and Solicitors, Opuuake, and will in future be in charge of the firm's Opuuake office, Mr MacLean was for 11 years with the firm of Tate and Thompson, and its 'successors, Thompson and Turton, in Grey town, and for the past five years has been senior conveyancing clerk with Messrs Croker and McCormick, in New Plymouth. When in Greytowu Mr Mae Lean was keenly interested in the various sporting bodies in the town, and was secretary at different times of the football, bowling and cricket clubs. Since coming to New Plymouth Mr Mae Lean has been an active member of the Rugby Referees’ Association, and a keen member of the New Plymouth Bowling Club. He is an active member of the Manchester Unity Oddfellows’ Lodge, and last year acted as one of _ the judges in the ritual.competition.
