It is not generally known that tlie English players Frank Lawton and Evelyn Laye are man and wife. Miss Laye and Lawton are in Hollywood for pictures. LEGAL NOTICE. MESSES CHOKER AND McCOHMICK of New Plymouth, having purchased the practice of Mr. C. 0. EDMONDS, Opunake, have pleasure in announcing that they have admitted into partnership at Opunake Mr A. D. L. MacLeau. The two practices will in future be carried on under the name or style of CHOKER AND MeCORMICK, Barristers and Solicitors, New Plymouth, and of CROKER McCORMICK 'EDMONDS AND MacLEAN, Barnsters and Solicitors, Opunake. Mr A. D. L. MacLeau as resident partner will be in charge of the Opunake Office.
