ENJOYABLE EVENING A good number were present-at a social evening held at the Kaweora Camp on Tuesday, when a most enjoyable time was spent. The programme had been arranged by Rev. Lambert, who is relieving Rev. Farnell, all the artists receiving a merited encore. During the evening a novel competition was held, those taking part choosing the name of a well known racehorse and endeavouring by actions to portray to the others its name. This caused quite a lot of fun and resulted in the unearthing of some very competent actors and actresses!

The programme, a lengthy and enjoyable one was as follows: Violin solo, Miss Smith; monologue, Rev. Mr Lambert; song-, Mrs Lambert; recitation, MiDevlin; song, Mr F. Kapa: sketch, (Rev.) Mr and Mrs Lambert ; competition (skits) being name of race horses ; monologue, Rev. Lambert; song ("For You Alone") Mr E. Clarke, the violin obligate being played by Miss Smith; (encore, "Because"); recitation, Mr E. Hughes; playlet, Rev. Lambert: song, Mr S. Downing; playlet, (Rev.) Mr and Mrs Lambert; violin solo, Miss Smith; recitation, Miss K. Bildeyaeck (Waiiganui); God Save the King.

The acompaniments were played by Mrs Lambert and Miss Smith. Personals. Mrs Peterson (Frankton) is the guest of her sister, Mis Baylis. Mrs McSweeney (Wanganui) is the guest of her sister, Mrs Bavlis.

Mrs J. Sinclair has gone to Inglewood and is the guest of her son, Henry.
