CROQUET
THE TAIT STARS. Two teams from Rahotu visited Opuuake on Saturday in quest of the Tait Stars. They were successful, winning one game and losing one, but on the aggregate were two points ahead. Details are:— Mesdames Clarke and Field 10 v. Mesdames Jenkin and Feaver Mesdames Butler and Hawkes 26 v. Mesdames Gunson and Watt 14. The Watt Trophy. Two further games were played in the above competition the results being:— Mrs. Feaver 26 v. Mrs. Gunson 8. Mrs. Gunson 26 v. Mrs. Sinclair 19. A New Competition. Three trophies, miniature silver cups, have been presented by Mr. It. McMillan of Palmerston North for local competition. The matches will commence tomorrow.
