(To the Editor). Sir, —I would be pleased if you would allow me the freedom of your columns to express the deepest. thanks to Mr. L. Whiting tor his generous organisation of a benefit performance to clear the debt on the cottage hospital radio. The wireless is a great comfort to the patients, offers ready relaxation to the staff *nd has been appreciated by everyone who I feel sure will join ns in the spirit of this letter. I am, etc.. E. M.
