PIHAMA LADIES' SUCCESS. TEAM TO PLAY ROVERS. The Pihama Ladies' Hockey team have once again demonstrated their ability, by winning their division for the Taranaki championship in brilliant style. Last year the team carried all before them to finally capture the highest honours, and a survey of this season's results shows even greater possibilities, the team having scored 39 goals in competitive matches without having one single goal scored against them. This record speaks volumes for the efficiency of the team as a whole and the match against Rovers on Saturday next for South Taranaki honours should be well worth seeing especially as the Hawera team have shown first-class form in all their matches to date. The Pihama team for this match will be: Misses A. Conaglen, J. Forsyth, M. Conaglen, V.. Hall, A. Glengarry, P. Templeton, M. Corkill, J. Hare, J. Richards, M. Fischer, D. Willcocks and T. Riley.
