SPORTS MEETING: The usual weekly sports meeting of the Opunake Athletic Club will be held a,t the High School grounds onl Thursday, 10th inst. The events will start at six o'clock sharp and entrants are asked to be on the spot promptly, lit is almost «ure that a team from Hawera will l>e present and a«s there is a varied assortment of events an enjoyable evening; should eventuate. The following is the list of events: Men: 75 yards, 120 yards, 300 yards, Pole Vault, Putting the Shot. Ifadies: 50 yards, 220 yards, high jump, javelin throwing.
