MOTOR CARS COLLIDE
NARROW ESCAPE. On Sunday morning a car driven by Mr. S. Feaver and a motor-lorry driven by Mr. Hodgson met in a collision near the Public school. Luckily no one was injured although the occupants of the car received a good shaking. Mr. Hodgson was returning from the factory along the main road and Mr. Feaver who apparently misjudged the distance was travelling to church. Th© car was struck near the \mgine, the left-hand , mudguard and side screen wor e badly battered, but the heavier vehicle escaped with but slight damage. The smash which was heralded by a loud report soon, attracted many residents.
