NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE. WEEKLY MARKET REPORT. Auckland, February 6. Horses have been brought forward in increased numbers at the Durham Yards on Friday. The attendance was good, bidding for those of a good stamp being keen. Heavy draughts sold at from £24 10s to £39 ; medium do., £ls to £29 15s ; light harness horses, £5 10s to £18; hacks, £5 5s to £lB 10s; £l4. Cattle : At the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday dairy and store stock were penned in the usual numbers. Dairy cows sold at from £3 10s to £5 Os ; empty cows, £1 15s to £3 03. Ox beef sold up to 23s and cow to 203 per 1001 b ; steers sold at from £6 5s Od to £9 17s 6d; emptv cows, £1 2s 6d to £3 5s Od ; cows, £3 5s to £7 ; calves, 15s to £1 6s.

Sheep were yarded in full average numbers at the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday. Wethers sold at from 16s 6d to £1 3s Od ; ewes, 15s 6d to £l. Lambs in full supply, sold at from 18s 6d to 19s 9d ; other sorts, 7s to 12s 9d. Pigs : Baconers, £2 Is to £3 5s ; weaners, 7s 9d to 15s. Butter: First-grade separator is worth 8d ; second grade 7£d. At Rahofcu on Thursday nearly all store cattle sold either at the hammer or privately at satisfactory prices.
