The road is in splendid condition, and visitors will have no difficulty in driving right up to the House. The new track to the New Plymouth House and Bells Fall is now open to foot passengers. This is a fine trip and can be done in a day. It is expected to have this track open to horse traffic by the end of December. A new cottage has been built at the Falls House to accommodate a limited number of visitors. Tariff 9s per day. Intending visitors should reserve accommodation. Tariff at Mountain House Is per day; children under twelve half price. Horses, Is per day. Detached cottage, 2s each visitor per day. Meals 2s, beds 2s, horses Is 6d. Tinned meats, fish, milk, cream, fruit, biscuits and sundries kept in stock. Visitors must bring rugs and wraps, and ladies are advised to bring their own pillow slips.
