NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE. WEEKLY MARKET REPORT. Auckland, November 22. Horses : At tbe Durham Yards on Friday, horses were brought forward in average numbers. Bidding fluctuated. We quote : Heavy draughts old at from £2B Os to £36 ; medium do., £2O 5s to £32 ; hacks and light barness,£6 10s to £lB ; weeds, £2 5s to £5 ; a tax cart brought £2l. The trotting horse Redleaf realised 20 guineas. Cattle : At the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday dairy and store stock were penned in tbe usual numbers. Dairy cows were dull of sale. Ox beef sold up to 23s and cow 19s to 22s per 1001 b ; steers sold at from £6 10s to £lO 12s 6d ; cows, £4 10s to £7 ; dairy cows sold at from £4 5s to £6 10s; empty do., £2 10s to £3 16a; grown steers, £5 5s to £6 8s ; calves 12s to £1 9s. Sheep were yarded in average numbers at the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday. Wethers sold at from £1 to £1 , 12s 6d ewes, 18s 9d to £1 3s 3d. Lambs, in full supply, sold at from 10s to 16s 6d. Pigs : Porkers sold at from £1 to £2 10s ; weaners, 8s 6d to 12s; baconers, £2 0s to £3 ss. Potatoes : Market is firm at £ls for American and £l6 for Hobart. Chaff: £5 ss. Oats : 2s 7d, c.i.f. Ducks madels lid to 2s lid, hens Is Id to 2s 6d, roosters Is Id to Is 6d. Potatoes, 2d to 2|d. Sundries and furniture made low prices. Fruit. —Prices during the past week were as follows. —Lemons 4s to 7s 6d, oranges (American) 17s 6d, apples 17s, bananas 2d, green peas 9d to lOd, Cattle,—At Waiwakaiho on Tuesday bidding was very dull. Yearlings made 10s to 2-year steers £2 6s 6d, 2J to 8£ year do., £8 2s 6d to £4, 18 to 20 months heifers £2 lls, springing £3 to £3 17s 6d, store cows 25s to 85s.
