Freeman R. Jackson and Go's Stock Report. At Wanganui on Wednesday, 14th instaut, we had a large entry of stock. Competition for oattle was better, and most lots changed hands. Bidding was irregular for sheep, though most of the yarding was sold at good values. A full entry of pigs met with a ready sale. At Waverley on Friday, the 16th instant, owing to the bad state of the weather several lines advertised did not come forward, though on the whole we had a fair yarding. Bidding was keen throughout, and all lines of sheep were quitted at ruling prices. We quote: — At Wanganui.—Fat and forward bullocks £5 lis, 8 to B£-year steers (good) £4 4s to £4 7s 6d, fat bullocks £7 6s, fat cows £4 10s to £5 2s, 18moaths steers £3 2s, others £2 7s 6d, 18-month3 mixed cattle £2 to £2 3s 6d, 18-month heifers in calf (good) £2 15s, mixed weaners 28s to 265, store cows £2 6* to £2 15s, springing heifers £4 6s to £4 10s, fat wethers 20s 9d to 22s 6d, fat and forward wethers 19s 6d to 20s Id, 2-tooth wethars 18s 2d, small 2-tooth wethers 15s 2d to 16s 6d, light fat ewes 16i, empty ewes 9s to 10s sd, full-mouthed Roraney ewes in lamb to Lincoln rams 20s 3d to 20s 4d, aged Eomney ewes in lamb to Romney rams 169 6d, Lincoln ewes in lamb 16s 4d to 17s Bd, others 10s to 15s Bd, small lambs, 9s to 13s Id.
