“MAN ABOUT TOWN” ' With Jack Benny providing comedy, Dorothy: Lamour turning on the romance, Edward Arnold in an important role, and Binnic Barnes, Phil Harris, Betty Grable, “Rochester” and Matty Malneck and His Orchestra numbered among the supporting cast, " Paramount’s lively comedy with music, “Man About Town”, opens to-night at the Regent Theatre. Jack plays an American theatrical impresario who, while readying a show,, in London, showers attention on a Lady, of the English nobility in order to arouse jealousy in the heart ol a member of his.troupe. The English Lady encourages Jack because her husband is so involved in his bus.ness that he has little time for her. When Jack and his troupe entertain at the Lady’s house and the husband begins to suspect Jack, all sorts of hilarious complications, ensue. In addition to the big cast and hilarious story, the picture offers 20—count ’em —Petty Girls, chosen by the famed artist, George Petty, to bring his conception ol lovely femininity to the screen. “BRIDAL SUITE” Yodelling, a now and happy note of joyous abandon and carefree laughter, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s latest comedy hit, “Bridal Suite, with Annabella and Robert Young, conies to-morrow to the Regent Theatre.

This announcement may be regarded as an especially happy event. Not only does it bring Robert Young to the screen in a role superbly fitted to his natural talents ; and briskly on the heels of his recent personal triumph in “Honolulu”, it unites him in an uproarious comedy-romance with a true international artist in the person of Annabella, film star of Paris, London, Berlin, Vienna and Budapest, and screen heroine of such film hits as “The Baroness and the. Butler” and “Suez.”

Still more, faithful to the M-G-.M tradition that a good picture deserves an excellent cast and an exceptional picture the best in supporting personalities, “Bridal Suite” docs not pause with these two outstanding screen stars. Bor in the roster of players we find Walter Connolly, Reginald Owen, Gene Lockhart, Arthur Treacher and Billie Burke in roles that have never given them greater scope for their incomparable comedy gifts.
