ITALIAN SUBMARINE HUNTED DURING NIGHT AU ST RADI AN DESTRO YER ALEXANDRIA, Oct. 9. An Australian destroyer winch throughout tho night hunted an Italian submarine, Anally captured it at dawn with the aid of a British plane. The destroyer burst a steampipo while cruising with the licet and was proceeding to port for repairs when about 10 p.m. the lookout spotted life wake of a recently submerged submarine. A depth charge was dropped every half hour throughout the night until dawn when a patrol piano appeared, saw the submarine below the surface and dropped bombs, after which the submarine came up. All oxeept two of tho submarine’s crew wero roscucd.
