IRON GUARD OUTRAGE
KIDNAPPING OF BRITON PREMIER PERTURBED (News by Cable.) BUCHAREST, Oct. 2. It is now announced that four “Government men” dressed in civilian clothes “arrested” Mr. A. Millar, the highly-placed official of the Astra Romano Oil Company, at Snagov, near Bucharest to-day and drove him off in a car to an unknown destination. The Prime Minister of Rumania, General Antonescu, is reported to be most perturbed by the Iron Guard outrages culminating in the kidnapping of Mr. Millar. General Antonescu conferred with M. Horiasiraa, the Vice-Premier, who is stated to have agreed to a “purification” of the Iron Guard.
