PRAISE FOR BRITAIN An Ankara paper comments as follows : “There are two kinds of nations, those who fall before the first blow and those who bocomo more determined the more they arc struck. Britain definitely belongs to the second class. Far from being demoralised, she is more than ever determined to fight till she attains victory.” An Istanbul newspaper says: | “Britain’s coolness and courage un- i der a deluge of steel show the con- • fidence she has in her powerful defence forces. Her navy still rules the sea, and, moreover, she is coun-ter-attacking with great vigour.’
