PROPOSED AMENDMENT OPOTIKI OPPOSITION il meeting of the Opotiki BusinessMen’s Association was hold on Wednesday to discuss the Government’s intention to amend the. Shops and Offices Act. The following resolution was carried : “That a-letter bo written to the acting member for the district, Mr. A. F. Moncur, M.P., and also to Mr. A. 0. Wilkinson, M.P., strongly objecting to the proposed alteration to., the Shops and Offices Act in respect to hours of work.
