WIN FOR NETHERTON. The senior match on Saturday, between East and Netherton, at Netherton, resulted in an easy win for the home team by 20 points to nil. Mr J. Silcock was referee. East took the field two men short and for the first half a good game was witnessed, the scores at that time beNetherton 6 East nil. Shortly after commencing the second half E. Shaw, an East player, received an injury which compelled him to retire. From then *on .to the end of the game Netherton .had it all their own way and added another 14 points to their score. The injury received by E. Shaw was caused through an accidental knock from the knee of a Netherton player who he was in the act of tackling. The.knee caught Shaw on the eye breaking his cheekbone.
