The ceremonies ■on crossing the line were on an extensive scale. The Prince was "initiated" in the oldtime manner by Neptune's staff ou the occasion of his first crossing the line. He was lathered ?r;d shaved and then "diickefcl" in a bath made

The Renown met fine weather on the run from Honolulu, the passage being a very pleasant one.

She will arrive in Auckland on Saturday afternoon.
