GOLF.
On Saturday, April 17, the Hanna Shields were Avon by Miss Chamberlain and F. SVB.udd, with a nett score of 54 for 12 holes, 73—19-H&4, Mr.* Porritt and L. G. Cameron being second with 60 nett, 81 —21 —60.
After consulting with Mr J. L. Hanna, the Match Committee decided that henceforth the Hanna Shields competitions will be played over the men's 12 holes.
The following additions were made to the programme for 1920 :—
June 12.—Ladies : Pourball bestball match; choose own partners. Names
to be handed in to Match Conimit-
tee for handicapping. July 10.—Flag Match, 12 holes. En-
trance fee 1/-,
Trophy. to be pur-
■ chased from entrance fees. Ladies' Golf Union Fixtures (IS holes). —To be played on April 24, 28, and May 5 for handicapping only.
Ladies' Golf Union play for silver and bronze medals over 18 holes, six matches in all. Dates as per
Club Monthly Medal matches
At a committee meeting on April 16 Mr Hanna and Mr Bray were thanked for, 1 donating trophies for a "B" grade championship. The condition's of the above championship matches (ladies and men) will be fixed 'by the Programme Committee.
On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights Mi- McCormick avill lecture to golfers in the Drill Hall as follows:—
