Murdock, a farmer of- Hikutaia, died at his late residence, Hikutaia, on Monday, at the age of 38 years. Several families are stricken down, A temporary hospital is being fitted out to assist patients in these outlying parts. One death is reported at Netherton, Mrs Dunlop, senr., having passed away this morning. Arrangements are under way to organise the milking of herds of some of the settlers who have contracted the disease.
