GOLD EXTRACTION CO.
SUPPLY OF CYANIDE.
LOAN FROM WAIHI COMPANY.
On Friday we published the fact that if the Waihi-Paeroa Gold Extraction Co. could ndt get any cyanide the works would have to close. A telegram was received in Paeroa from the Minister of Supplies on Saturday stating that arrangements had been made with the Waihi Gold MiningCompany for the loan to the Extraction Co. of three tons of cyanide. This is satisfactory news as it will enable the Extraction Co. to continue work until the end of the month and by. that time it is hoped the company's own supply will toe to hand.
