I have had a cream test up to 42' per cent., with a skim milk test of .01, but I find it pays me best to keep it at 38 per cent, and .02, as I get a bonus of %d. per lb. if I keep the cream at 38 per cent, After four years', work, the only spare parts I have had to replace were three rubber rings at a cost of 1/6. The metal parts, so far, are showing very little signs of wear.
