DISTRESSING ACCIDENT.
YOUTH'S HAND CUT OFF
At Le Manquais, Lamb, and Go's, timber mill on Saturday morning a very distressing accident happened, which resulted in a youth named Arthur Hart, 14 years of age, losing his right hand. It appears from what we can gather that he was working at the circular saw, bis hand slipping and his arm was severed ati the wrist. The accident took place about 8.30. First aid. was rendered, and Dr. Smith ordered the young sufferer to the Waibi Hospital.
