PAEROA FIRE BRIGADE.

" SPECIAL MEETING.

A special meeting of the Paeroa Fire Brigade was held last evening in the brigade shed to receive the report ot the delegates who attended the annual ineeting of the Auckland Fire Brigades Association held at Auckland, and also the United Fire Brigades Association held at Timaru. * Members of the Fire Prevention Council were present, and also a number ot householders. Captain Moore, as one of the delegates, gave a very interesting account ot the proceedings at the meetings held in Auckland and Timaru, and also of the annual tournament held at Timaru. N After the meeting the visitors were entertained and a very pleasant time was spent. Captain Moore presented to Fireman E, Goldsworthy a three years' service certificate. Three years' service certificates were also shown for Firemen G. Hait and E. Gosper,'\vho are at present in Egypt. It was decided to have these two certificates trained and forwarded to-their respective homes.
