JUST BEHAVE YOURSELF!
REBUKE FROM BENCH
A sharp reproof was administered by Mr F. J. Burgesss, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court -at Paeroa yesterday to a young man named Leslie McNeil, who had just been convicted for failing to attend' parade. Asked by the clerk of the court when he, could pay the tine, defendant replied " I don't know if I'll pay at all." " I say, young man, when you come mlo Court, behave yourself and don't be impertinent and rude," said the Magistrate sharply. "If you are that sort of a man I am sorry I did not impose a heavier penalty on you. Now, just behave yourself." It was a humble young man who left the Court after that.
