MEETING OF PAEROA CLUB.

A meeting of the committee of the Paeroa Club was held last night. Mr G. P. de Castro (president) was in the chair, and the other members present were Messrs McWatters, Taylor, Morland, Balcke, Hamilton, Evitt, Ellis, Bray, and Pocock (honorary secretary). Mr W. Forrest and Captain Bettjs having been appointed delegates to the Auckland Provincial Bowling Association, it was decided to ask them to keep in view the desirability of a match between the Auckland Provincial and the South Auckland Bowling Association. Arrangements were made for the club's full-rink competition, it being decided that the first round be played by the 26th inst., commencing. not later than 2.30 p.m. All members not competing m. the fours are to be classified by the selector, and they, together with those not then engaged in play, are ia be available to act as substitutes for players of their own class in any team where a player is absent. Substitutes are to be mutually agreed upon by the skips, the selector to settle all disputes as-to the constitution of teams where the skips fail to agree mutually.

It was decided to endeavour to arrange a match with Karangahake to be played early in December.
