■'"Wjs regret very much, to hear of the death of Mr M. Mulligan, *one of the oldest and most respected residents of the Thames,, who passed-away peacefully at his residence. Cornwall Arms Hotel, Thames, 'on Monday night last after a short but painful illness. Am,ong the* various offices he has held during a residence of ovoi 1 27 years at the Thames, deceased was also a Trustee of the Thames Hospital, being elected year by year by the contributors,, aud this office, it is almost needless to say, he faithfully filled. Deceased leaves a widow, six sons, and one daughter to moTirn his loss,'which will be most severely felt. We tender our most sincere sympathy to those who are bereaved by his death, and we feel sure in this expression all old Thames people residing in this district will join with us.
