A new nurses’ home at the Hill Jack Maternity Hospital is expected to be completed before Christmas. It will provide accommodation for an additional six nurses, and contains a lecture room to be used for the training of maternity nurses. The building is shown in the photograph. A double garage at Hill Jack is being converted into a pre-natal clinic. It will contain a treatment room, a waiting room, dressing cubicles, and other conveniences. This is expected to be completed before the end of February.
