INDECENT ASSAULT
Pleas Of Guilty Entered
Pleading guilty to charges of indecently asaulting a male on December 3 and attempted indecent assault on a male on December F, Gordon McCabe (Mr H. J. S. Grater) was yesterday committed by Mr J. G. Warrington. S.M., to the Supreme Court, Christchurch, for sentence. An application foY- bail was refused. Detective L. D. Harrowfield said he had interviewed McCabe, who had frankly admitted the charges. He produced statements made by accused. Judgment Summons Leith McCallum was granted judgment against Andrew James Glendinning for £ls 4s lOd, with costs (£2 9s 6d). Civil Claim J. R. Bradley (Mr H. J. S. Grater) proceeded against R. J. McClintock for £4 Is 5d for balance owing on work done. 'Judgment was entered for the plaintiff, together with costs amounting to £3 12s.
