BOWLING CENTRE
Boundaries Outlined A map outlining the centre’s boundaries was received at a meeting of the North Otago Bowling Centre on Monday night from the New Zealand Bowling Association. The map showed that the centre’s district extended inland to Hyde and south to Waikouaiti, but excluded Kurow and Lake Waitaki. After some discussion, a member gave notice that he would move at the next meeting, “ That the North Otago Bowling Centre comprise those clubs within the Waitaki County and Boroughs of Oamaru and Hampden.” The motion, if carried, will exclude the Palmerston and Dunback clubs, at present affiliated to the centre. Mr D. Wilson was in the chair. Mr A. C. Forrest tendered his resignation as centre selector. His resignation was accepted with regret. Mr W. J. Currie was elected to fill the vacancy. The suggestion of the Otago Centre that the Waller Cup match at Oamaru be played on February 24, was adopted.
