WOMENS GOLF
The Onslow Ladies' Golf Club closed its 1950 season with a social held in the Tudor Lounge last Tuesday evening. Trophies won during the season were presented by the club president, Mrs A. C. Swanson. The winners were;—Senior club championship; Mrs Maclean; runner-up, Mrs Renton. Junior championship: Mrs Day, runner-up, Mrs Caley. Margaret Adair Cup; Mrs Renton. Arthur Hudson Cup: Mrs Boardman. McGrath Cup; Mrs Valentine. Morrison Cup: Mrs Caley. Junior cup; Mrs Forrester. Senior Ringer; Mrs Don Junior Ringer: Mrs Stirling. Putting cup: Mrs Stuart. LGU Medal: Mrs Day. Sus'anne Vase: Mesdames Fuller and Gale. Onslow House Cup: Mesdames Garrett and Caley. Extra knock-out: Mrs Boardman. The annual meeting of the club was held in the clubhouse on December 7 Office-bearers elected were:—President, Mrs H. Halliday; vice-presidents—Mes-dames R. Hogan. C. Gray and A. C. Swanson; captain, Mrs King; secretary. Mrs Wyatt; treasurer. Mrs Renton: committee—Mesdames G Maclean, W. Lindsay, C. Day and D Garrett: auditor, Mrs A. C Gibson.
