Announcement Of New Share Issue DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE Rarely out of the news, Woohvorths, Ltd., informed the stock exchanges by cable message yesterday the terms of a new issue of shares and simultaneously a bonus issue, both in the proportion of one new share for every three held. The cash issue is to be at par. Buyers offered up to 32s 6d on the morning call, and a nominal seller quoted at 355. In the afternoon the seller was not offering and buyers proferred an additional 6d. The shares of Woolworth (NZ) were firmer in sympathy, and, whereas sellers could not secure close offers to their bids of 27s lost week, buyers were offering 27s 3d yesterday. Mt. Morgan shares were firmer, buyers advancing up to 21s 9d, the selling quotation last week. Dalgety and Co. shares, which have not had reported business for nearly two weeks, sold Is 6d cheaper than on November 30. with a deal at 12s 9d, but buyers were offering for additional shares at 12s 7d, with sellers too distant to promote further business. The week opened on a quiet note, with only four deals reported on the day, but quotations were actively registered throughout the two business sessions. DUNEDIN £ s. d.
