Infant Drowned In Fish Pond
PA AUCKLAND, Dec. 10. A baby girl was drowned in a 2-foot ornamental fish pond at Hamilton last evening. She was Gay Christine Baxter, aged 15 months, daughter of Mr and Mrs B. W. J. Baxter. The accident occurred at the home of Mr E. R. Morris, of Claudelands. Mrs Baxter missed her daughter from the house, and after a search found her lying in the fish pond. Artificial resoiration was applied for more than two hours without success.
