Narrow Win At Woodville PA PALMERSTON N„ Dec. 10. The Woodville meeting was concluded under fairly favourable conditions. Despite several light showers and a strong breeze, there was a very large attendance, and the totalisator turnover was £63,345 10s, including £5526 for the double, compared with £43,941 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £127,347, as against £83,717 10s, the increase being £43,629 10s. The return for £1 worth of the Almora-Ptolemy double was £47 16s.
