MISS JACKSON WINS
Sprint Races At Wellington PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. Miss Marjorie Jackson, of Australia, the holder of the women’s world sprint record, won the Invitation 100 Yards Race from Miss D Parker, of Waikato, and New Zealand 100 and 220 Yards champion, and Miss D. Singer, of Wellington, in 10.6 sec, at the athletic meeting between Canterbury and Wellington, at Wellington, on Saturday. Both Miss Jackson and Miss Parker were off scratch. Miss Jackson /ilso won the 220 Yards Invitation Handicap from Miss Parker, to whom she conceded three yards. Miss J. Shackleton (Canterbury) was third. The interprovincial meeting was drawn.
