At the Taranaki Trotting Club’s meeting today the doubles totalisator will be operated on the President’s Handicap and the Egmont Handicap. Horses selected to race prominently are:— 11.2: Clifton Handicap. Dauphine, Manex, Merchant Prince. 11.47: Mangorei Handicap.—Dawnlight, Josephine Direct, Single Raider. 12.32: Tariki Handicap.—Faraway, Vivid Night, Monte Casino. 1.17: President’s Handicap.—Essendon, Jack’s Luck, Stuart Earl. 2.2: Rahotu Handicap.—Sir Andrew, Dauphine, Merchant Prince. 2.47: Egmont Handicap.—King Oliver, Faraway, Modern Kitty. 3.32: Okato Handicap.—Clean Sweeps Highlander, Valiant. • 4.17: Farewell Handicap.
