LAWN TENNIS
At the meeting of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association on Thursday night, the secretary reported that the visit of the American professional tennis players had been a success and although no profit had been made by the association the “ gate ” would meet expenses. Arrangements were made for the screening of the films -of the Davis Cup. Wimbledon matches and the Kramer coaching film will be shown In the lecture room of the Public Library. The Match Commitee advised that South Canterbury had accepted February 24 for the Otago-South Canterbury fixture at Timaru. Other fixtures arranged were Otago-South Otago, on January 27 at Dunedin, and Otago-Manio-toto on March 10, at Ranfurly. It was decided that the Otago Junior Championships should be held on March 31 and April 7.
