Two-year Farm Course For Youths

There Is . a demand today from youths to acquire a practical knowledge of farming, and an excellent opportunity to secure this knowledge is being offered by the Wairarapa Training Farm of instruction, which is accepting a number of students in January for a two-year course. The farm of 736 acres was acquired bv gift and public donations for the training of ex-servicemen of the First World War; it played a similar rcie after the last war and recently was reorganised to undertake the training of youths. The farm is run on essentially practical lines, and boys will receive instruction in the chidf phases of agricultural and horticultural work. Any New Zealand youth between 15 and 18 years of age who is interested in agriculture and who has the necessary medical and character qualifications mav become a trainee. The number of entrants will be limited, however, and early applicants will receive priority if more students apply than can be accommodated. Applications should be made to: The Secretary. Wairarapa Training Farm of Instruction. P.O. Box 11. Masterton.
