ADDINGTON BRANCH PROTEST
PA CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 8. A resolution protesting “ at the inadequate wage increases granted by the Railways Industrial Tribunal ” was carried at "a lunch-time-meeting held by the Addington branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants. The resolution urged the National Executive to instruct the entire membership immediately to cease working overtime, and said that any form of direct action taken to gain a living wage would receive the wholehearted support of the branch.
