Sir Stafford Cripps Having Treatment In Zurich

Sir Stafford Cripps. the formeir British Chancellor of- the Exchequer, now under mefiical treatment here, will have to lie flat on his back in bed for the next six months, Lady Cripps said today. Sir Stafford, who resigned on October 19, has a tubercular infection of the spine. Lady Cripps said: “ Sir Stafford’s condition has improved under treatment already.” Later they will go to Leysin, where Sir Stafford will be under the care of Professor Auguste Rollier, world-famous specialist on bone suberculosis. “ Professor Rollier feels sure that Sir Stafford can be completely cured,” Lady Cripps said.
