Italian Prefabricated Houses For Queensland
NZPA—Copyright Rec. 10.20 p.m. BRISBANE, Dec. 8. The tender of £2,050,000 by an Italian firm for the supply of 1000 prefabricated timber houses has been accepted by the Queensland Government. This is the largest tender yet placed overseas for homes for the State Housing Commission. The houses will be two. three and four bedroom types for erection in the country as well as metropolitain centres.
