KING, writes the following remarks:— The “ ROCKFORD ” Stud was soundly established in 1944, with a highly accredited line of Glenhope Heifers and a Stud Sire, so that the present-day herd is virtually an offshoot of the latter wellknown stud. Included are such good cows as Glenhope W. Beets,” H.C., C.0.R., 6261 b fat (average test 4.6 per cent.), and “Glenhope Korndyke Keyes," V.H.C., who has produced up to 1261 b fat per month, second prize Rangiora. The herd is a comparatively young one, non-stripped by hand, averages in the vicinity of 4001 b fat. and carries a clean bill of health. The Yearling Heifers have not been mated, which should be to the advantage of buyers. „ . The Heifer Calves are an excellent line and include current season winners. The present herd sire is “ LAUDERDALE BRUCE LAD," bred by Mr Dickie.
