Auckland Magistrate To Retire
PA AUCKLAND, Nov. 7. Mr J. Morling, who has been a stipendiary magistrate at Auckland since 1938, will retire at the end of this month. He will continue to live in Auckland. In his younger days, Mr Morling played representative Rugby for Wellington. He was also a keen yachtsman and golfer. In 1936 he was appointed Chief Judge in Samoa, where he spent nearly two years. He returned to New Zealand and took up his position on the Bench in Auckland.
