PROPERTY SALES
Two house properties and one section were sold at auction yesterday by city firms. A modern roughcast bungalow near Macandrew Bay was -offered, and after bidding commenced at £2OOO and rose to £2500, it was finally knocked down for £2620 after several £SO and £lO bids had been made. Bidding for a three-roomed cottage in John street, Caversham, started at £3OO and was sold after several bids had been made for £490. The section« offered was on the corner of Vire and Harrow streets, and rising from £IOO in £25 bids, it finally changed hands for £250.
