FLOWER SHOW
The Green Island School ParentTeacher Association’s annual spring flower show was held recently. There was a record entry of over 450 exhibits and both the afternoon and evening sessions were well patronised. Miss Curline and Messrs E. F. Hughes and M. Thompson of the Dunedin Horticultural Society acted as judges for the flowers and decorative art sections, and Messrs Moore and Harrison for the baking and writing sections. The various section winners were:—Section 1, Mrs Friend: second 2, Mrs Martin: section 3, Mrs Griffiths; section 4, Heather Price; section 5, Hazel Murie.
