TRANSFER TO NELSON
Senior Sergeant D. Vaughan
Senior Sergeant D. Vaughan, of the Central Police Station, received information yesterday of his transfer to Nelson.
Senior Sergeant Vaughan, who has earned the reputation of being a highly efficient and popular police officer, came to Dunedin about 10 years ago as a senior sergeant, but he was also stationed here earlier in his career. He
has been a police prosecutor for many years and counsel have frequently paid tributes to the eminently fair manner in which he has conducted his cases. Senior Sergeant Vaughan is a keen bowler, being a member of the Caledonian Bowling Club, and he has had many notable successes to his credit, both in club and tournament play.
