Bowling In North Otago
There are now 12 clubs affiliated to the North Otago Bowling Centre, with a membership of 547, an increase of 19 on last year. For the first time North Otago holds the Barnett Tiki, won against Christchurch. North Otago won all three of its inter-centre matches last year, and now holds the Murray Bowl (won against South Canterbury), and the Waller Cup (won against Dunedin). The increasing popularity of the game is shown by the record entries for the Easter tournament, with 118 singles and 72 fours.
