CRIPPLED CHILDREN
Meeting Of Association It was reported at the annual meeting of the North O.tago Crippled Children Association that the association had a credit balance of £149. Mr W. Kinder was in the chair. The Mayor. Mr M. F. E. Cooney, said it was gratifying to see that the good work of the association was being recognised. The resignation of Mr Kinder was accepted with regret, and a minute expressing appreciation of his services over a long period of years was recorded. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr M. F. E. Cooney; president, Mr James Rodman; vice-presidents, Mr G. R. Simkin and Mrs Smith; secretary, Mr I. M. Armour; committee—Mesdames Bannerman, Stamford, V. Baker, R. Finch, E. McKenzie, Smith, Maurice, Misses S. Kearns, A. Lindsay, Mackay, and Messrs M. H. R. Jones and J. M. Blackgrove; welfare officer, Miss S. Kearns; auditor, Mr J. Corlett.
