Pursuant to Section 45 of “ The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925,” Public Notice Is Hereby Given that the Waitaki Electric Power Board passed the following Resolution by way of a Special Order at a Meeting of the Board held on the 28th day of August, 1950: “ That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 15 of ‘ The Statutes Amendment Act, 1938,’ the Waitaki Electric Power Board having obtained the precedent consent of the Local Government Loans Board and of the Governor-General-in-Council to the raising of a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) to be known as the Housing Loan, 1950, Hereby Resolves by way of Special Order under Section 15 of r The Statutes Amendment Act, 1938,’ and Section 45 of * The Electric Power Boards Act. 1925,’ to borrow the sum of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) far a term of twenty (20) years at a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3 ss) per centum per annum for the purpose of acquiring land, erecting dwellings, and purchasing land with dwellings thereon, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Board by sub-section 1 of Section 122 of ' The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, and that the said loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or halfyearly instalments extending over the said term of twenty (20) years."
